New Year, Fresh Vision

With the start of a new year comes new opportunity. You have a chance to do what you have never done before. You can be the person you want to be, and take the steps you need to take. What is God calling you to? What is the dream He has placed on your heart?

As we step into this new year, let us set our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith( Hebrews 12:1-2). Let’s gaze upon His glory and be transformed into the same image(2 Corinthians 3:18). Start this year off right by being in fellowship with Him. The dreams you have, and the satisfaction you desire is only found in intimacy with God.

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is the perfect time to let the pain, struggle, and failure of last year die. Leave the past in the past, and focus on this present moment with Jesus. Move forward with Him, and press in to the good will He has for you.

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God has a good plan for you, and as you journey with Him this year, you will find more. More of Him. More of His blessings. More healing. More grace. All God requires from you is faith, and He will even supply that.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Live this year free. Live in faith. Live in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and everything else will work out. This can be your year, if you keep first things first. So seek the kingdom first, and watch God work.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If you have read this far, and you realize you don’t know Jesus, don’t go any longer on your own. Jesus is God. He became a man for you. He lived a perfect life, so He could give you perfect right standing with God. He died a criminal’s death on the cross to pay for all your sins, and He rose from the dead for your justification. When you repent and believe Him, He saves you. He takes away your sin, and makes you righteous. You become a child of God, and He’ll is no longer a possibility. When you come to Christ, you will be in the presence of God forever. Don’t wait. Come to Him and be saved.

If you don’t know Jesus, I want to give you the opportunity to trust Him for your salvation and receive His finished work by faith. If you want to make Jesus the Lord of your life, simply pray this in your heart, as a way to put your faith in Him. Say, “ Jesus, I make you the Lord of my life. I know I’m a sinner, but I believe. I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins, and I believe that You rose on the third day for my justification. I ask you to save me now. I receive you by faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen”

  1. As always, your posts always speak to me. I am always open to learn more about God and to grow closer to Him and want to know that I am walking in His will. Something has really changed in me since December 8th. I have always read the Bible, but not really grasping all that I read. Since God gave me the vision I shared with you, I can’t seem to read enough. I search scriptures like I’ve never done before. God talks to me more than ever before. It’s like my understanding of His Word has deepened. I have spent many days in the Bible, in fact, there has not been one day that I have not been searching the Bible or picking up a book and automatically I’ve come upon a lesson in faith. Sometimes I’m awaken just before dawn, needing to study.

I think I understand what is happening, but I do not have anyone to share with that would understand…no one but you. I’m overwhelmed (not tired) at times but I continue to read and write. It’s humbling to know that God has chosen me to go so deep in His Word…but sometimes the way He is dealing with me is a bit scary, and I feel so unworthy. I don’t want to let Him down.

I’ll continue to be led by God; reading, studying and praying, so please pray for me, as I am at this stage of my life in a place of isolation. I’m alone, but not lonely. Maybe when have some time to spare we can get together so that I can share what’s happening to me..Lol You probably already know.

Blessings to you and your family for the New Year! I appreciate you more than you know!
